The story is quite engaging and it gives a beautiful massage as well. This movie shows the importance of family. A house is more than just four walls; it is filled with the family members.
The movie is 132 minutes long but they did not drag it out unnecessarily. There are lots of ups and downs in the story, especially in the relationship between Kapil and Somya. The comic parts in this movie work perfectly and are quite enjoyable for the audience. The ending of the story makes us emotional.
Sara gives a skillful performance with controlled expressions. At times her performance looks overacting but does not cross the line. Vicky as a smitten lover keeps the romance alive. As a small-town guy Vicky portrays the character perfectly. We really enjoyed Vicky and Sara's onscreen chemistry.
Supporting casts are appropriate in their role. Kanupriya Pandit shows her acting skills as Kapil's aunt. Rakesh Bedi, Neeraj Sood, Susmita Mukherjee shows their skill as well. Sharib Hashmi plays the role of a nosy colony guard which is very interesting and also very funny. Sharib Hashmi's performance was quite impressive. He could have get an important role, but the makers may have different thoughts about it. The man who played Kapil's lawyer friend role has created the milestone in 'Overacting'.
Music in this movie plays a major role. All the songs are enjoyable. The songs actually create the vibes. Songs like 'Tere Vaste', 'Phir aur kya chahiye' are also getting popular among people on social media.
Although the movie does not have much depth but as a family drama it's really engaging. It never bore you and gives a beautiful massage about family values.
